Facing the global pandemic in March 2020, Most Serene Congress adjourned from playing at our indoor lair. After several weeks, we began setting up and improvising outdoors (masked & “distanced”). Tracks on this album were recorded at different locations in Dutchess County between July and November, and mastered in March 2021; they are sequenced alphabetically by title. Tracks 1 and 10 are remixes in which segments of our improvisations montaged by CF; track titles in which poets’ names appear feature words these writers recited at readings in the Hudson Valley, transcribed and shaped into acrostics by CF.
